As a member of ILCO, you can expand skills and gain insights to elevate value, continually improve your contribution to enhance client service and your firm’s performance.

There are a number of different types of memberships designed to serve you as you advance through your career, including:

Ordinary membership
Associate membership
Fellow membership
Extra-provincial membership

Ordinary Member

You may be admitted as an ordinary member of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario if you:

1. Are in Qualifying Employment at the time of seeking admission as an Ordinary Member; and
2. You are at least 18 years of age
