ILCO is pleased to offer the 2023 Fellowship Estates Accounting Course via live Webinar sessions, starting September 6, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Fellowship Estates Accounting Course runs for 9 weeks on Wednesdays until November 1, 2023.

*Please note that the first class on September 6, 2023, will be from 7:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. A Zoom recording of this class session will be sent to students via email. Regular class hours of 6:00 p.m-9:00 p.m. will resume on Wednesday September 13, 2023.

Course Description:

The Course will address the various aspects of estate accounting from consideration of the relevant legislation and common law principles, through the preparation of estate accounts to a passing of accounts. It will include such topics as distinguishing between capital and income, unusual entries, problem areas, estate trustee compensation and accounting for a power of attorney for property. Informal accounting where a passing of accounts will also be dealt with, as well as requirements under the Estate Administration Tax regulations. 

ATTENDANCE: Attendance is mandatory. Classes will not be recorded. Students are expected to attend class on a regular basis.

REFUND: The course fee is non-refundable.
