PROVINCIAL CORPORATE EXAM POLICIES

IMPORTANT UPDATE: As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic the Provincial CORPORATE Exam will not be held on June 29th as previously advertised, but on Alternate exam date - September 26th, as originally scheduled.

IMPORTANT:

All Provincial Examinations are closed book and written online with a web-based proctor.

REGISTRATION FEE:

The exam fee is $160.00 plus HST. Payment may be made by MasterCard, Visa and AMEX. Please note that fees are not transferable.

Please note: Due to the Covid-19 pandemic registrations with payment by cheque will not be considered complete and processed by ILCO. 

REFUND POLICY:

Through the ILCO Portal, you will have the ability to withdraw from the exam up to 14 days prior to the exam date subject to a $25.00 plus HST administration fee.

Refund requests made less than 14 days prior to the exam date must be submitted in writing to ILCO’s Education Committee for review and consideration.

EXAM FORMAT:

The ILCO Provincial exams will be completed via an internet based computer delivery platform. Each exam taker will be provided with a voucher code. An email will be sent to each test taker after they schedule their exam giving them directions on completing the exam, testing their system and confirmation of the scheduled exam time.

EXAM CRITERIA:

The exam is scheduled for two and one half (2 ½) hours. The exam is worth 100 marks. The exam will consist of multiple choice, true/false or matching questions, as well as a variety of short answer questions, brief case scenarios and/or calculations. A simple calculator is permitted. Cell phones may not be used as calculators.

EXAM RESULTS:

Student grades will be available on the ILCO Portal within 90 days of the exam date.  Verbal results will not be provided under any circumstance.

ILCO provides a certificate to students upon successful completion of the four Associate Program Provincial Examinations.

ONLINE EXAMINATIONS

By choosing to purchase and write this exam, you hereby acknowledge and agree to be bound by all policies of ILCO.

All examinations become the property of ILCO. All examination records are destroyed 1 year after the examination date.

APPEALS

If the student wishes to appeal their grade, submissions must be made in writing within 120 days of the exam date, stating the specific question(s) being appealed.  The individual should note that the onus is on the appellant to prove their case. The examiner will only review the specific questions where the appellant has provided written detailed argument in support of their appeal.  Upon receipt of the request for an appeal, ILCO will arrange to have the written examination reviewed. The appeal result will be mailed to the appellant within 6 weeks. All decisions made by or on behalf of ILCO are final.

The fee to appeal your grade is $75.00. ILCO accepts MasterCard, Visa and AMEX. If the examination grade is adjusted in favour of the appellant, $25.00 of the fee is refunded.


ALTERNATE PROVINCIAL CORPORATE EXAM POLICIES

 

EXAM FORMAT:

The alternate exam fee is $200.00 plus H.S.T.  Payment may be made by MasterCard, Visa and AMEX. Please note that fees are not transferable.

Please note: Registrations with payment by cheque are not going to be accepted and processed by ILCO.

NO RIGHT OF APPEAL

Students writing the alternate exam will not have the right to appeal their grade. There will not be an opportunity to view your graded exam paper.
