A Fellow Membership with The Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (“ILCO”) is the highest professional membership class attainable with ILCO. It signifies a distinguished level of expertise, experience, and dedication to the law clerk profession. This membership reflects a commitment to continued excellence and recognizes significant contributions to the advancement of law clerks.
Qualifications
You may be admitted as a Fellow Member if you:
- Are in Qualifying Employment for a period of not less than seven (7) consecutive years prior to the date of seeking such admission;
- Admitted as an Associate Member and has passed the Fellow's examination or examinations provided by ILCO;
- Attained the age of twenty-five (25) years
Application Instructions
The membership fee structure is based on a billing period from July 1 to June 30. Membership applications are generally processed each month. The annual fee is not pro-rated.
2024-2025 ILCO Fellow Membership Fee: $225.00 + HST = $254.25
Before starting this application, please ensure you have electronic copies of the following documents. These documents will be uploaded as part of the application process.
- Completed and signed Statutory Declaration.
- Resume listing your current and past employment duties as a Law Clerk.
- A copy of the diploma(s), transcript(s) or grade report(s).
