A Retired Membership with The Insititute of Law Clerks of Ontario (“ILCO”) acknowledges long-standing members who have concluded their active legal careers but wish to maintain a connection with the profession. This membership allows retired law clerks to retain all of their membership benefits while staying engaged with the ILCO community and continue contributing their experience and insight to the profession.

Qualifications
Any Ordinary, Associate, Fellow, Extra-Provincial or Independent Member may, on retirement and upon approval by the Board, continue in such class of membership occupied on the date of retirement.
Application Instructions
The membership fee structure is based on a billing period from July 1 to June 30. Membership applications are generally processed each month. The annual fee is not pro-rated.
2024-2025 ILCO Retired Membership Fee: $50.00 + HST = $56.50
Before starting this application, please ensure you have an electronic copy of a signed letter with the name of your past employer and date of retirement.
